A planned development in the River North Neighborhood of Chicago 505 N. State will consist of a 35-story building with three levels of parking (levels 2, 3, and 4), a 250-plus guest room hotel and 140 condominium units. The ground floor will accommodate hotel and condominium lobbies, registration service areas and a specialty restaurant. Hotel administration, function spaces and support services will be on level 5. Level 16 will house hotel and condominium amenity spaces, shared fitness center and pool; it will also feature exterior landscaped roof deck accommodation.
The site is a corner parcel fronting State Street to the west and Illinois Street to the south and is bounded by the existing AMA office building and plaza to the north and east. The project scope will include new paving and landscape work along the State and Illinois Street frontages.
